Arch Studios

Privacy and cookies

Last updated 8 November 2026. This explains what Arch Studios does with your personal details, in plain English.

Who we are

Arch Studios, Arch 196 Prebend Gardens, Stamford Brook, W6 0XT, London. We decide how your details are used, which makes us the "controller" under UK data protection law. For anything on this page, call 0208 747 1116 or email info@archstudios.co.uk.

What we collect, and why

Your booking. Your name, email address and phone number, your band name if you give one, how many of you there are, any equipment you need, and the room, date, time and price. We use these to make and confirm your booking, to email you about it, and to get in touch if something changes. We do this because we need to in order to provide the booking you asked for.

Your card. When you book online, a card is saved with Stripe, or taken if you choose to pay now. Stripe handles and stores the card details, so we never see or keep your card number. We keep the reference Stripe gives us for your card and the record of any payment or refund. We use it to take payment, to charge the cancellation fee in our booking terms, and to refund you. We do this to carry out your booking and to protect the studio from late cancellations and no shows.

Messages. If you email or call us, we keep what you tell us so we can answer you and look after your booking.

Accounts and records. We keep records of bookings and payments because the law requires us to keep accounts.

We don't sell your details, we don't use them to build a profile of you, and we don't send marketing emails. The emails you get from us are about your booking.

Who else sees your details

Only the companies that help us run the studio, and only for that job. Stripe takes card payments. Google hosts our booking calendar and our email. Resend sends the booking emails. Cloudflare hosts this website, holds our booking records and runs the check that stops automated bots. Our staff see your booking so they can set up your room. We share your details with anyone else only if the law requires it.

Some of these companies handle data outside the UK, including in the United States. They do it under the safeguards UK law requires, such as approved contract terms.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records for 6 years, which is what we need for our accounts and tax records. After that we delete them or remove your name and contact details. Emails and calendar entries are kept on the same basis.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, ask us to delete them, ask us to limit how we use them, object to how we use them, or ask for a copy you can take elsewhere. Email info@archstudios.co.uk and we'll reply within one month. We can't delete records we're legally required to keep, such as payment records, but we'll tell you if that applies.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies

This website only uses the cookies and similar storage it needs to work, so there's no cookie banner to accept. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Card form. When you book, Stripe's card form can set its own cookies to keep payments secure and prevent fraud. Bot check. Cloudflare's check on the booking form can set a cookie to tell people from automated programs. Staff login. The staff page sets a sign-in cookie, which customers never receive. Your browser. The booking page can remember in your browser for the current visit that you've dismissed a suggestion, and nothing more.

Map. The map on the Find us page only loads when you press the button to show it. If you do, Google may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy.

Changes

If we change how we use your details we'll update this page and the date at the top.
